Captain Otterstedt asked that his remarks in the discussion of the Council Subcommittee on Marine Resource Program Financing Needs be revised. The minutes should read that 35 staff within DEC’s Division of Law Enforcement are assigned to DEC Region 1 only; this was not the total staffing in Regions 1, 2, and 3, as suggested in the draft minutes.
Councilor Tony Somma asked that the minutes be amended to reflect that Chairman Wise stated at the beginning of the 12 November 2002 Council meeting that the minutes from the 17 September 2002 meeting were mostly put together through recollection due to problems with the tape recorder at the time.
The minutes were unanimously approved with these changes.
